looking for 90's era trance, like HALLUCINOGEN

I'm looking for some current stuff that is reminiscent of old 90's trance like Hallucinogen or Man With No Name. I want to find some psy parties that play that sort of stuff in LA. I haven't followed the scene that closely these last couple years, but a lot of what gets billed as goa/psy is more like mainstream trance.. or some weird ultra high bpm stuff that sounds more like happy hardcore with some space/alien sounds dubbed in. Someone turn me on to something that will help me live the nostalgia!

okay, guys, i knew you loved squee and secret society, but i had no idea you loved us this much.

thats right... we are on our way to psytrance platinum because of your help...

so far, because of my friends mad support, we have sold a whopping 15 copies of the Up-sidedownwaysable EP, an exciting 1/66,666.6666666 of 1 million copies. I never thought we would be so close, and on our first EP too... wow. While we all had some great experiences that night, one of the unfortunate moments was that Vishwaatmaaa's nightpsy set was forced to a fast conclusion (after 3 tracks) when he was forced to abandon the decks in order to attend to run after me to the Queens police station.....!! :-)))))

Boom Fest 2008

We are taking a preliminary head count to see who is interested in attending Boom Fest in 2008. We are looking into the possibility of chartering a flight, depending on numbers. Our group of monkeys is located in Colorado. Realizing that it is far too early for most to commit to anything in August 2008, we just wanted a rough estimate of the wish list. It may be worth the trip to Colorado for other folks to reduce overall travel costs. Please pass along the info to anyone you know, who might be interested. Thank you!

As I have noticed so far a lot of you don't really know just about anything about psytrance.You think that it is all about drugs and dj's,who's gonna play where and so...Well let me tell you something about psytrance,it is not music for everybody and how far I can see a lot of you are listening it because is new to you.Here,in Serbia,we have dj/producers, organisations that are far more advanced than yours (just for americans) and the only thing you have is money but money isn't evrything...This tribe sucs because people should comunicate not turn their back to one another,I see some good post here but no one is going to reply them because the one which posted it has 2-3 friends,thats just stupid.Aaaaaaaaaaa ya all are just pathetic cunts that will never know...SRBIJA

WHAT: A psytrance party at the beach with a generator, some Outpost23 JBLs, your friends, and a bonfire to keep you warm.
WHEN: Saturday the 17th at 10PM until sunrise on Sunday the 18th.
