i don't get this "here psytrance has gone all commercial." where have you been man? i haven't travelled the world going to psy parties, but i have heard stories from many who have, and america seems to be just about the most underground scene there is. i have friends who went to goa and said that the vibe was screwed up... people just trashing the land and not respecting each other. in most countries, there are week-long psy-festivals that have 20 and 30,000 people in attendance. week long psy parties don't even happen here, and if they did, they would be attended by the few, not the many.

maybe i need an explanation of what commercial is to you, man. or maybe some kind of idea about the serbian scene that makes you come off the way that you do. it seems that a bi-product of commercialism is disrespect and egotism, things which are plainly obvious in your posts.

for your info... a scene that pulls 200 people maximum to an average event is not commercial. a scene that talks of intention and meaning, while spending every penny they have to throw events that do not make significant profit, is not a commercial scene. i have been throwing events here for years and rarely have seen anyone make profit at all, let alone get rich off of it.

our scene is a 'labor of love', our dj's get paid little, our vj's get paid little. we tear our homes apart for every party so that we can bring beautiful deco and food and drink to our events. we meet for months in advance to speak of the best way to make an event happen. our events aren't sponsered by corporations. we charge less than we could because we know that we are all broke and we let people into the events for free if they can't afford it. we are a smart and intentional scene, NOT A COMMERCIAL ONE.

if the purpose of a jerk-off is to jerk-off, so be it. keep on a jerkin while we continue to make events that ooze with heart and thought. i, however, will not stand for anyone speaking down to my community. whether it makes a difference or not to you, this community is my life and my love; this music is my heart and my mind.

if you care about psytrance, then maybe the move would be to support it and not tear it down, we get enough of that from the republicans.
